One bite of Toussaint confers upon the palate everything we love about cow's milk cheeses: buttermilk notes give way to a rich buttery aftertaste; and the golden paste is semi-hard but moist. Toussaint hails from Sprout Creek Farm in Dutchess County, New York, where it is produced in small quantities with raw milk from cows that feed on the grass of the 200-acre farm. Merlot or Shiraz is recommended with this cheese. At the Artisanal Premium Cheese we are especially proud to represent this fine cheese from our home state of New York.
