Ordering Guidelines & Shipping Policy

GUIDELINES FOR ORDERING

Artisanal Premium Cheese makes every effort to maintain, if not improve upon, the quality of our fine products. We are sure you will be delighted with your selections. Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. If there is any problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Credit will not be granted if unsatisfactory items are discarded or consumed.

ORDERS

Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, seven days a week via our web site. Telephone orders can be placed Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm EST. Call us toll-free at (877) 797-1200.

Artisanal Premium Cheese accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Cash, checks or money orders and not accepted. All prices are subject to change without notice. Catalog prices do not reflect the cost of delivery. We do not ship C.O.D. Sales taxes will automatically be added to any applicable purchase.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

It takes 24 hours to receive and process your order. Orders placed before midnight will be automatically shipped the following business day, Monday -Thursday. Due to the perishable nature of our product, we ship all orders to arrive overnight. Orders shipping within approximately 150 miles of New York City are guaranteed overnight via UPS Ground. Orders shipping outside this area ship overnight via UPS Next Day Air Saver.

Please note that all cheese orders placed on Thursday will ship Monday unless Saturday Delivery is selected for an additional charge. We cannot ship on Saturday or Sunday.

If desired, you can select a future ship date during the checkout process. Please note that if you select a ship date for your order during checkout, it will not apply to Cheese of the Month purchases or class enrollment!

During December and other peak periods, we may require several days to process and deliver your order and will inform you of any unusual delays.

We ship all packages with Signature Release. We cannot ship to PO Boxes.

Artisanal Premium Cheese will not assume responsibility for any incorrect addresses provided to us; delivery, return and re-delivery charges will apply. We strongly recommend that when ordering perishable items, you confirm that the recipient or other responsible party will be available to receive, open and properly store you order. We are unable to replace cheeses that perish due to recipient's being unavailable at the time of delivery. Furthermore, please not that our boxes are clearly marked "perishable" on the outside and we are not responsible for the items received but not opened.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

Artisanal Premium Cheese can ship anywhere in the world, provided the customer assumes all shipping costs; taxes and tariffs; and liability for the quality of the cheese due to time-in-transit. Please note that our website will not generate accurate shipping charges for international shipments, even those going to Canada or Puerto Rico. IF you would like specific information regarding costs, please contact Customer Service at service@artisanalcheese.com or toll-free at (877) 797-1200.

PACKAGING

Your cheeses are packaged in insulated cartons, fitted with gel ice packs and cushioned with packing peanuts to ensure quality standards for up to 48 hours. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together.

QUALITY

Please note that to ensure quality, we cut your cheese to order. We will always try to cut the specific amount requested, but it is possible that we might cut slightly more or less. Please understand that this is one of the challenges of offering a handcrafted product and that we will do our best to make sure you are satisfied.

PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS

Due to seasonal availability and supply limitations, we may need to substitute items within one of our gift selections to ensure freshness and timely delivery. We will always compose your gift with alternative ingredients of equal or greater quality and value.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

All e-mail addresses and personal information (such as name, address, credit card number, etc.) are transmitted in an encrypted form for your protection. All information is collected for our use only; Artisanal Premium Cheese protects this information both online and offline.

CHEESE OF THE MONTH

Term Membership: You will be billed $55 (plus Shipping and Handling) for the first month when you place your order, and $55(plus Shipping and Handling) when each subsequent month of your membership ships. If you have purchased Cheese of the Month as a gift, we will send your gift recipient a card informing them or their enrollment when we receive your order

Auto-Renew: You will be billed $55 (plus Shipping and Handling) for the first month when you place your order, and $55 (plus Shipping and Handling) when each subsequent month of your membership ships. If you have purchased Cheese of the Month as a gift, we will send your gift recipient a card informing them or their enrollment when we receive your order. Please call us by the 1st of the month in which you would like to cease shipments in order to terminate your enrollment.

On the Wednesday of the first full week of each month, we ship out your cheese for delivery the following day. If you will be unable to receive your cheese for any reason, please contact Customer Service at least 24 hours before the expected delivery date at service@artisanalcheese.com or toll-free at (877) 797-1200 to delay your shipment.

Please note if you select a ship date for your order during checkout it will not apply to your Cheese of the Month selection!

Class Cancellation Policy - Please note that cancellations must be made more than 24 hours in advance of class time. Credit will be issued towards a future class. Any cancellations within 24 hours of class time are nonrefundable.

For the master class, cancellations made up to 14 days prior to the first day of class are fully refundable. Within 14 days, you will be held responsible for 25% of the total fee. Any cancellations within 24 hours of the first class are nonrefundable.

The Artisanal Premium Cheese Center in Manhattan offers a special opportunity for hosting events, whether social, corporate, or team-building. Our event space makes the ideal setting for casual or formal events. Luncheons, receptions, cheese & wine tasting, multi-faceted business meetings, and decadent or down-home dinners can be customized to meet your special needs.

If you prefer, Artisanal Premium Cheese can bring the ''Fromagerie & Bistro'' experience to you. Impress your friends and colleagues by hosting our renowned cheese & wine tasting experience right in your home or office. This year we are pleased to offer a wide variety of our exclusive cheese collections in our custom-made, hand-crafted Artisanal Premium Cheese gift box. The box, made in France, is traditionally used by cheese makers to encase delicate cheeses for transport. Our engraved box is the perfect packaging for gifting and for storing cheeses in your refrigerator.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Artisanal Premium Cheese gift certificates may be redeemed toward the purchase of any of our cheeses, food products, accessories, and educational programs. Gift certificates must be redeemed over the phone. To redeem yours, please contact Customer Service toll-free at (877) 797-1200.

All gift certificates are mailed out via USPS First-Class Mail upon receipt of your order. Artisanal Premium Cheese gift certificates are not valid at the Artisanal Fromagerie & Bistro.
