Director of Wine Education, Morrell & Company

Having racked up 10 years of industry experience, Brett originally caught the food and wine bug working for a fine dining restaurant in his college town just north of Cincinnati, Ohio. Within 2 years, he was in charge of the wine list, and managing part time while finishing up his coursework. After graduation, he worked in the wholesale sector, selling wine to restaurants and retailers in the Cincinnati area. A brief stint in the Rhode Island market brought more experience in distribution before he relocated to New York and joined up with Morrell in 2008. He oversees not only the entire educational program, but also general sales, the Bordeaux Futures program, and most private events. He is a 'Certified Specialist of Wine' with the Society of Wine Educators (based in Washington DC), and currently resides in Greenwich, CT with his wife of 4 years.
