A close cousin to Reblochon, soft and oozy with a bloomy washed rind, aromatic but not too strong, with overtones of hazelnuts.
The Jura is a small mountain range north of the Alps on the border between the northwestern portion of Switzerland and France. Despite being made on the Swiss border, it is a decidedly French cheese with French character. Pairs well with a Sauvignon Blanc and bigger reds such as Merlot.
