Setting out to create a cheese which when cut displays beautiful and aromatic streak of truffle an vegetable ash, renowned cheesemaker, Luigi Guffanti, has developed this outstanding pecorino cheese, Pecorino al Tartufo Striato. It's rind dusted with oak powder yields to a firm white paste. The truffle balanced with the sharpness of the pecorino results in a wonderful flavor that becomes even tastier with a pinot noir.
Each cheese comes with a fromager note (describing the cheese with beverage pairing suggestions) and a cheese serving tag identifying its name, origin and milk type.
