Mohawk Valley Chèvre is made in the verdant foothills of the Adirondacks by Peter and Suzie Jones, passionate cheesemakers originally from Wisconsin having deep roots in family farming and artisan dairy. They lovingly produce these limited-quantity fresh rounds of pasteurized goat’s milk having a smooth finish with a delicate, creamy texture that melts in the mouth. Its aroma is of fresh cream and buttermilk with herbal notes. Mohawk Valley Chèvre pairs wonderfully with Sauvignon Blancs, Pouilly-Fumé, Sancerres and Muscadets, and most white wines. One piece weighs approximately 6-7 ounces.
