University Club - French Cheese & Wine Virtual Tasting - May 21, 2020
You will receive the following French Cheeses for the May 21st Event:
- Brillat-Savarin: (Mild) A triple-cream cow’s milk cheese, Brillat-Savarin is a luscious buttery cheese often called a cheese lover’s “ice cream”.
- Ossau-Iraty: (Medium) A classic sheep’s milk cheese from southern France, Ossau-Iraty provides a flavorful comparison to the cow’s milk cheeses to be enjoyed this evening.
- Cantelet: (Bold) Cantalet is a farmstead cow’s milk cheese from south-central France having a hint of sharpness to an otherwise rich buttery flavor.
- Fourme d’Ambert: (Strong) A favorite among French blue cheeses made from cow’s milk, Fourme d’Ambert bears a milkier taste than the spicier and saltier Roquefort. Its creaminess made it a unique blue cheese.
Accompanying each shipment will be a sleeve of Artisanal Crackerthins, Cheese Display Tags and Fromager Notes describing each cheese.
