Pecorino al Tartufo Striato
Setting out to create a cheese - which when cut displays beautiful and aromatic streak of truffle and vegetable ash -, renowned cheesemaker Luigi Guffanti has developed this outstanding pecorino cheese, Pecorino al Tartufo Striato. Its rind, dusted with oak powder, yields to a firm white paste. The truffle, balanced with the sharpness of the pecorino, results in a wonderful flavor that becomes even tastier with a pinot noir.
Each cheese comes with a fromager note (describing the cheese with beverage pairing suggestions) and a cheese serving tag identifying its name, origin and milk type.
