Cru des Alpes is a pasteurized pressed cow's milk cheese from the Savoie region in the Alpes. It is a Beaufort type cheese aged more than 4 months. Subtle and moist in texture, it has a slight flowery sweet taste. Try this cheese with a full-bodied red like a Shiraz, or even a Cabernet or Pinot Noir.
